About The Artist

Born in Singapore and working between Switzerland and Asia, I.C. Koh makes brushless, sculpted canvases that behave more like weather than image. His practice gathers an intergenerational education in architecture, collecting, philosophy and faith; a life that moved through academia, diplomacy and the United Nations human rights system; and a contemporary conviction that imagination itself must be protected.

I.C. Koh's exhibition record spans solo and group presentations Across Asia and Europe. His solo debut at ArtSpace@HeluTrans in 2025 was followed by selection for the South-East Asia Focus sector at Art Singapore 2026 and a presentation during Singapore Art Week 2026, alongside group shows in the Netherlands and Switzerland. He currently holds an ongoing exhibition alongside David Hockney and Fernando Botero at the Immersived Based Media Art Theatre at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore: a site-specific installation occupying 2,000 cubic metres and running through March 2027.
